More on Huawei Enjoy 5.

Huawei has introduced a new smartphone called the Enjoy 5. Priced at RMB 999 (roughly Rs. 10,196), the new Huawei smartphone has been announced for the China market. Huawei hasn’t revealed when the Enjoy 5 phone will be launched in other markets.

The Enjoy 5 is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery, which is said to deliver 10-12 days of standby time. The phone is also capable of reverse charging. Interestingly, the Enjoy 5 manages to weigh about 160 grams despite a large battery. Overall phone measurement is 143.1 x 71.8 x 9.7 mm.
The smartphone has a 5-inch HD display. It runs EMUI 3.0 based on Android Lollipop 5.1 and is powered by a MediaTek MT6735 SoC with quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. The Enjoy 5 features 13-megapixels rear and 5-megapixels front-facing cameras. Other important features of the phone include 16GB built-in storage, expandable storage, dual-SIM and LTE connectivity support.

If launched in India, the Enjoy 5 will be competing against a slew of budget smartphones such as the Asus Zenfone 2, Xioami Mi4i and Moto G third generation. It’s worth pointing out here that Huawei’s Honor 4X has received mostly positive reviews and is one of the best smartphones under Rs. 15,000 in India.

Launch of the Enjoy 5 comes shortly after the company introduced its latest Honor 7 smartphone in India. Priced at Rs. 22,999, the Honor 7 features 5.2-inch full HD display, Kirin 935 octa-core processor, 20-megapixels rear and 8-megapixels front cameras, and 3,100mAh battery. The company also showcased a new wearable Honor Z1 Band in India. The band is priced at Rs. 5,499. Availability details of the wearable hasn’t been provided as yet.
