Huawei's much-talked-about P9 flagship smartphone has been leaked in new images. According to a Chinese publication, the company's President was spotted using the Huawei P9 smartphone, sporting a dual rear camera. Huawei seemingly confirmed the dual-camera setup on its P9 smartphone in its official teaser for the launch event. The new leaked images show the Huawei P9's metal build alongside the fingerprint scanner placed on the back panel. At the back two cameras are visible on the top corner along with autofocus sensors and dual-LED flash. Although the purpose of the second camera is not yet known, it might likely be used for wide angle capture or for refocussing after the image has been captured. In a first, researchers have shown that a fungus can transform manganese into a mineral composite with favourable electrochemical properties - paving the way for a better rechargeable battery in the near future. The findings suggest that fungus Neurospora crassa present in a red bread mold could be the key to producing more sustainable electrochemical materials for use in rechargeable batteries "We have made electrochemically active materials using a fungal manganese biomineralisation process,"said Geoffrey Gadd from the University of Dundee in Scotland.  The electrochemical properties of the carbonised fungal biomass-mineral composite were tested in a supercapacitor and a lithium-ion battery. Lava has launched a new smartphone, called the Lava Pixel V2 3GB. Highlight of the phone is its massive 3GB of RAM. Besides, the phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. Rest of the specifications of the phone are similar to Pixel V2 smartphone which was launched in September 2015. Under the hood, the Pixel V2 3GB is powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz  paired with 3GB of RAM.
