HTC Desire 728 Dual SIM With 5.5-Inch Display Launched at Rs. 17,990

After launching the HTC Desire 828 Dual SIM and HTC One A9 in India last month,  HTC  on Friday launched the Desire 728 Dual SIM in India - priced at Rs. 17,990. The smartphone will be made available via major offline retailers in the country from next week in White Luxury and Purple Myst. To recall, the  HTC Desire 728 Dual SIM  was  launched in China in September  last year. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with HTC Sense and features a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display like the Desire 820G+ Dual SIM, which was launched in July. It packs the same 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, but a 5-megapixel secondary front-facing camera instead of an 8-megapixel one. Also, the handset is powered by a slightly less powerful octa-core MediaTek MT6753 SoC (clocked at 1.3GHz) and 2GB of RAM. Xiaomi Redmi 3 Will Sport 4100mAh Battery, Company Reveals.

Xiaomi, ahead of the Redmi 3 launch on Tuesday, has confirmed that the handset will pack a 4100mAh battery. Additionally, a Chinese analyst has claimed that the  Xiaomi Redmi 3  will include Snapdragon 616 processor under-the-hood. The Chinese company took to Weibo  to reveal the battery capacity. To compare, the Xiaomi Redmi 2 came with a 2200mAh battery. In its first teaser  image , Xiaomi had confirmed that the Redmi 3 will sport a 5-inch display and will feature a metal unibody chassis. In separate news, a China-based analyst  named Sun Changxu has claimed on Weibo that the Redmi 3 will pack an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor clocked at 1.7GHz and Adreno 405 GPU. The analyst has further claimed that the Redmi 3 will be priced "higher than expected." Notably, this is the first time that pricing of the  Xiaomi  Redmi 3 has been tipped. CES 2016: 3D-Printed Figurines the New Selfies.

A 3D printing company has been showcasing a new technology at the Consumer Electronics Show ( CES ) 2016, the ongoing consumer technology expo in Las Vegas, by letting people take their 3D-printed "selfies", a media report said. The selfie by Shapify is a 15cm-tall 3D-printed figurine - also called shapie - of the person scanned by the company's array of cameras. The scanning process takes 12 seconds, while a print-quality model is rendered by the company's software in 15 minutes, motherboard.vice.com reported on Thursday. Figurine prices start at $169 (roughly Rs. 11,275) for an S-size figurine (15cm). An M-size figurine (19cm) costs $219 (roughly Rs. 14,600), and an L (23cm) is worth $299 (roughly Rs. 19,945), according to the company. Portraits which are in 3D can also be shared on  Facebook .
