iPhone 5se Design Tipped in New Leak, to Look Like iPhone 5s

Apple is widely reported to be working on a 4-inch iPhone 5se, which it plans to launch on March 15. The supposed smartphone will have innards largely similar to the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s. But as for the design, it appears Apple is inclining towards the design of the iPhone 5s, but with some noticeable changes - such as a relocated power button.

Citing schematics provided by an iPhone case manufacturer, 9to5Mac reports that the iPhone 5se will look nearly identical to Apple's flagship smartphone from 2013. It however notes that iPhone 5se will have curved design. The iPhone 5se will also have its power button on the side, as opposed to on the top as seen in the iPhone 5s. To recall, iPhone models starting with iPhone 6 have had their power key on the side. The report thus refutes a purported iPhone 5se render that suggested that the iPhone 5se will look identical to the iPhone 6, except for the 4-inch size form-factor.

Earlier reports suggest that theiPhone 5se will have a 4-inch display. It will be powered by A9 SoC and M9 coprocessor, as also feature hardware and software capability to support Live Photos, a feature that Apple introduced with iOS 9 last year. Currently only iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus support Live Photos. Interestingly, the report claims that the iPhone 5se wouldn't support 3D Touch display, one of the most interesting features in Apple's current flagship smartphone models.

The iPhone 5se, according to reports, will have NFC chip to facilitate support for Apple Pay, the mobile payments system from Apple. It will come in Gold, Silver, and Space Gray colour options and in 16GB and 64GB inbuilt storage variants.

A team led by an Indian-origin professor at Columbia University has created a novel sheet camera that can be wrapped around everyday objects to capture images that cannot be taken with one or more conventional cameras. Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016) Leaked in Press Images

The anticipated successor to the popular Samsung Galaxy J1, tipped to be called the Galaxy J1 (2016), has once again been leaked in images on the Web. While in the previous leaks we have seen the unannounced smartphone in its Black colour variant, the new leaked image shows the handset in two additional colour variants. The image tweeted by @evleaks on Monday shows the Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016) smartphone in Gold and White colour variants. The design of the handset also fall in line with the models leaked in images previously. It is worth mentioning that the screen bezel seen in the image stay black in all the three colour variants. The smartphone is seen featuring a physical home button, along with a multi-window, and a back capacitive button on either side.
