OnePlus X Set To Launch In India On October 29.

OnePlus is all set to launch its new smartphone, OnePlus X in India. The company has sent out invites for an event scheduled in New Delhi on October 29, 2015 where it is going to take the wraps off its much anticipated phone OnePlus X.

Rumors about specifications and features of upcoming OnePlus X smartphone have already been churning the rumor mill. A device named OnePlus Mini was also spotted on Amazon India revealing its specs. It is not known as of now whether the company is going to announce two smartphones. Or is it the same smartphone with two different names. We should know more details at the time of launch in the coming days.

OnePlus is expected to take the wraps off its OnePlus X smartphone in India on October 29, 2015. OnePlus India has shared the announcement through an image on its official Facebook page. The image shared by the company has large ‘X’ written on it and says ‘See you on October 29’. The picture is accompanied with ‘#Powerfully Beautiful.’

Moreover, another smartphone, OnePlus Mini (32GB variant) was spotted listed on Amazon India ahead of its launch. As per the Amazon India listing, spotted by True-Tech, the OnePlus Mini will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6795 paired with 2GB of RAM. It will feature a 5-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution, 401ppi pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The screen will also feature ClearForce Technology which is similar to Force Touch display as seen in recently launched Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. On software front, it will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Oxygen OS 3.0.

The listing also reveals that the device will be backed up by a 2450mAh battery and feature metal frame finish around the body with ‘SideTouch’ functionality.

OnePlus Mini has also been leaked previously. Leaked renders of the device surfaced last month in September 2015 revealing its design. It is expected to sport dual camera set up with dual LED flash. The sleek OnePlus Mini phone is also believed to feature fingerprint scanner. There are no details on specifications and features of the OnePlus X as of now.

Freedom 251: 30,000 Units Sold, Components for Up to 2.5 Million Will Be Imported
